As a diverse artist Douglas is very interested in many different artistic mediums. In fact, in every stage of his career he usually further develops his own mastery in one art form or another. Take the mid-nineties, in addition to his music, Douglas was engrossed in oil painting. That passion for painting, has developed and refined into a more multimedia approach today.

Having composed and scored previously for film, Douglas refined his interest in audio visual expression. He became interested in sonic scenery/ music landscaping and how our perceptions of visual images are impacted by what we are listening to. This interest has led to the creation of many short vignettes as well as music for film and short documentaries.
